Mingalaba, Welcome!
Since 2008 our magazine is published once a year
Wanting to inform its members and other interested people about our activities regularly, the Förderverein Myanmar decided to issue the magazine Mingalaba.
Mingalaba is the Burmese word for Good Day! When a European in Myanmar addresses a Burmese with “Mingalaba”, he is mostly thanked with a charming smile. I hope you will share this feeling of cheerfulness while reading our magazine, too. The most important centre of attention will be the lovable people, the wonderful country of Myanmar and our activities there.
