Since the middle of February I’ve been teaching the group of NTTC teachers in English as a volunteer. Because of their large variation in their English competence the teachers have been split into 2 groups. I am concentrating on the beginners (12) whereas Stephanie from Australia is teaching the more advanced teachers (8). My course is from 3.30 to 4.45 pm daily.

The beginners seem to be very interested and quite ambitious. I mainly do pronounciation and reading exercises as well as extending their vocabulary and practicing simple grammatical structures. They particulary enjoy adding some rhythm and movement to our speaking exercises.
I’ll be teaching this group till the end of March and I’ll expect they’ll have made some improvement by then.
