“We all live together in this beautiful country, so it’s in all our best interests to do what we can to maintain and even improve our natural environment. Especially the use of plastics and non-biodegradable materials continues to grow, we are all experiencing a growth in the amount of trash generated every day.” MPT, one of Myanmar’s telephone services, has started a CSR Campaign to fight against the widespread pollution of the environment, especially with plastic materials and our Tourism Assistant Project with its manager Ohmar Mint is taking part. She and her students cleaned areas in Ava and in Mandalay. Sustainability and protection of the environment are not only part of the curriculum in theory but also practised in the field.
